Y6 - GEOGRAPHY

Last term, our Y6 children learnt about evolution and inheritance in geography. Part of that was learning about how fossils are formed and how this gives us clues about evolution. Mrs Ward was inspired to take her children to Lyme Regis during half-term, following in the footsteps of the famous palaeontologist Mary Anning. The children in 6RW were delighted to have a first-hand look at the ammonite and belemnite fossils her family found on the beach! #engageandinspire #nurtureandgrowth #prideandjoy
