The children had a thought-provoking day last Thursday, as Reduce Reuse Recycle day focussed on the problem of plastics in our world and, in particular, the problem in the oceans. We wrote letters to supermarkets, asking them to reduce their plastic packaging; brought in items for recycling in our rag bag bins, and re-used old plant pots to create models and sculptures. Some of these have been taken to The Gallery at Stamford Arts Centre, where they will be exhibited between Monday 15 and Saturday 20 October 2018 as part of the One World Week Exhibition! Once they return, we hope to fix some of the fabulous creations around the school grounds as an attractive reminder of the important lessons from the day. #engageandinspire
