On 14 March we took a group of 16 x Y3-6 children to a cross-country event at Burghley Park, organised by Stamford Junior School. It was an amazing day with the children producing some superb results against 60+ other runners in each race; it helped that the weather was beautiful! Our Y3/4 runners came out as winners with the top four runners in each section for points with (for the boys) Harry, Harrison and Jude and (for the girls) Georgie and Sofia finishing in the top ten of their races. Our Y5/6 children gave some really great performances, finishing 7^th out of the 16 schools, with Freddie and Briony being our highest-placed runners in their races.
